Java jtable get sort order
hi! maybe you guys can help me get the correct row value from a sorted jtable i am able to be a value using getValueAt() but when i sort the table the value i get dont match the one on display. i believe there is an extra step to retrieve the real row, but i dont know how. thanks for advanceThe program has variables in to continue the sort order automatically even if there is an initial sort key in the column it is about to sort like there is in the example implementation below. I would like to know if you think the program can do what it is meant to do properly. java jtable get sort order
This allows me to sort the table by clicking on the column headers as expected. However, I find that when I sort the table by clicking on the column headers, the formatting (background and foreground color) of my rows are not sorted as well.
Nov 19, 2011 I've figured out how to get a JTable to be sorted properly, but I can't figure out how to get it to automatically update the sort order when a table cell is changed.
